In basic art education, music and singing studies usually begin at the age of 6-9, but for some wind instruments, the starting age is higher due to physical limitations.
The teaching is mainly individual. The teaching program includes individual and group lessons and concerts. The student progresses at his or her own pace on his or her instrument and plays mastery concerts when he or she is ready.
The study of music perception subjects begins at around the age of 9. If musical instrument studies are started at an older age, the study of music perception subjects usually begins after a year of musical instrument studies. After completing the basic levels and the related music perception studies, the student receives a certificate of completion of the basic level curriculum. After advanced studies, the student receives a college-level graduation certificate.
There is no upper age limit for starting musical studies in the Adults department. People of all ages have the opportunity to start studying the instrument of their choice.

SUZUKI METHOD (violin and cello)
The Suzuki method, developed by Professor Shinichi Suzuki, is a widely used musical education method in early childhood education, which is part of the development of hidden gifts in young children. His methods and results have been evaluated in different ways. Suzuki calls his method “talent education”. Every child is born talented. According to Suzuki, any environmental factor, the sophistication of education or some other external factor. An important principle of the “talent education method” developed by Suzuki is the study of the skill of playing and the development of the child’s whole personality through music. In this educational work, the cooperation of the family and the teacher plays a fundamental role.
The Suzuki method usually begins with children under school age 3-6 years. Talent education is a method of learning the mother tongue. Suzuki realized that just as a child learns to speak, he can learn to play. Suzuki was ahead of his time when creating his method: positive pedagogy. How to teach a child a new thing, if not with positivity and encouragement.
Many who started with the Suzuki method have become high-level, world-renowned professional musicians. But more importantly, the hobby develops many other skills needed in life and brings joy and success to the whole family:
– Cognitive development: Playing music improves concentration, memory, and problem-solving skills. – Motor skills: Playing music develops fine motor skills and coordination.
– Emotional expression: Music helps children express their feelings and develops emotional intelligence.
– Self-esteem: Developing musical skills can strengthen a child’s self-confidence and self-esteem.
– Social skills: Playing together and music lessons provide opportunities for social interaction and teamwork skills.
– Cultural understanding: Through music, a child can learn about different cultures and their traditions.
– Fun and enjoyment: Playing music can be fun and provide joy and enjoyment.
Playing with your child is a great way to spend quality time amidst today’s busy schedule.
MUSIC PLAY SCHOOL
Early music education (0-6 years) creates a good foundation for later musical or singing hobbies. Music play school is also a happy way for parents to experience music with their child. The goal of music play school is to give children joy, experiences and experiences of success in music and to arouse the child’s interest and love for music.
Activities with music and other group members promote the balanced growth of the child’s overall personality and social skills. Active music making also develops understanding and thinking of what is heard. Work methods include singing, lullabies, rhythm, playing (rhythm and melody instruments), and dancing. You can also paint and draw during classes. The most important principles of the work methods are the comprehensive experience of music, the experiential nature of teaching and the positive atmosphere of the class. The highlights of our school year are the spring and Christmas parties held at the end of the semester.
Note!
Accepting a student place in the fall means committing to the studies for the entire academic year (autumn and spring semesters). Therefore, you do not have to re-register for the spring semester, but the student place remains for the entire year, unless you separately cancel it by notifying the school or the office by November 30.
Studies can be started at any time, during the semester and also at the beginning of the spring semester. If a new student starts music play studies after the fall or spring semester has already begun, the tuition fee is calculated according to the remaining music play lessons.

SPECIAL MUSIC EDUCATION
Special music education groups are aimed at encouraging children and young people with special needs to enjoy music. The groups emphasize the joy of music, experiences of success and practicing teamwork skills.
The early childhood special music education group is intended for children aged 0-6. Groups are formed according to the age of those who register. The group utilizes the working methods of a music playschool, taking into account the individuality of the students. The child’s speech development is supported through singing and motor development by playing rhythm instruments and combining movement with music, among other things. Visual communication is utilized as an aid in interaction and operational management.
In special music education groups for school-age children and young people, pictorial notes are used to support musical learning. In addition to playing together, the groups sing, move along with the music or make their own songs, taking into account the wishes and strengths of the participants.
